Hunter Biden legal defense fund may be in the works

Hunter Biden's team has seriously floated the idea of starting a legal defense fund to pay for his large and growing legal bills after he hired at least four high-powered and expensive lawyers to defend him against numerous investigations as well as an ongoing child support case.

Biden hired Abbe Powell, Kevin Morris, and Chris Clark. Powell alone charges upwards of $800 per hour, and Breitbart estimated that his legal fees are now around $100,000 per month.

Biden is trying to get his child support of $20,000 per month for an illegitimate daughter, Navy Joan Roberts, reduced, while at the same time avoiding disclosing his financial information.

Lawyers for Lundun Roberts, a former stripper and mother of Navy Joan, said Biden's lawyers were trying to intimidate them.

Biden is also being investigated for illegal payouts suspected to be for access to his father when he was vice president, a gun fraud charge, and tax evasion.

“For this fund to work, it must be extraordinarily transparent and even restrictive by prohibiting foreign citizens and registered lobbyists from contributing,” former top spokesman for the Justice Department Anthony Coley told Axios. “Without these type of guardrails, the fund will be a legitimate headache for the White House.”
