Hunter Biden lawyers to meet with prosecutor Weiss, but no special counsel named by Garland

April 24, 2023

Plans are now in place for Hunter Biden's lawyers to meet with prosecutor Dave Weiss about the case against him, but a special counsel has not been named to the case by Attorney General Merrick Garland.

No shock there, since Garland was apparently one of the unnamed Biden appointees who a whistleblower said blocked the IRS from pressing charges against the president's son.

As it is, Hunter Biden has been under investigation since 2019, and there have been no charges during all of that time even though there's incontrovertible proof that he broke laws.

Let's face it--it wouldn't be a good look for Biden's attorney general to appoint a special counsel to investigate his son and that attorney general's own involvement in allegedly blocking charges from being filed.

In addition, any investigation into Hunter Biden could potentially implicate Joe Biden, and nobody in the administration wants to risk that.

“We’ve been wondering all along where the heck the DOJ and the IRS have been. Now it appears the Biden Administration may have been working overtime to prevent the Bidens from facing any consequences,” House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) said.
