House Strikes Down Biden Crackdown On Hunting And Archery

 September 28, 2023

On Sept. 26, the House of Representatives voted in favor of legislation ending down Joe Biden's decision to block federal funding for school shooting sports courses.

The vote concluded with an absolutely shocking tally, 424 to 1.

Rep. Veronica Escobar, a Democrat from Texas, is probably VERY proud of her choice to be the only lawmaker to vote NO.

The bill had been introduced by Rep. Mark Green, a Republican from Tennessee.

He introduced the bill on Aug. 1, just days after a report publicized the fact that the Department of Education was removing funding from schools with hunting and archery courses.

"Hunters and fishers are the best conservationists," Green said. "Hunting, whether it be with a firearm or bow, is one of the most effective ways to control wildlife populations, protect our beautiful lands, and connect with nature. My Protecting Hunting Heritage and Education Act is critical for our children."

Do you agree with the 424, or with the one?
