House Oversight ramps up questioning on altered Biden transcript
I certainly didn't have this on my 2024 bingo card: Comedian Tony Hinchcliffe may have had a bigger impact on the 2024 presidential election than any other person in this country.
Despite a political rally not being the perfect setting for Hinchcliffe's dark comedy, Tony went for it anyway. One of his zingers about Puerto Rico resulted in "garbage" becoming the biggest buzzword of the entire election.
Once Joe Biden heard that Hinchliffe, speaking at a Trump rally, called Puerto Rico "floating garbage," the president immediately fired back. he said:
The only garbage I see floating out there is the Trump supporters.
When releasing the official transcript of Biden's comments, stenographers inserted an apostrophe, aiming to completely change the meaning of Biden's message.
Republicans noticed the dirty trick immediately. If the White House was willing to edit this transcript, what else have they been willing to do?
"To date, the White House has not issued a corrected transcript, and the false transcript remains on the White House webpage," Republican Reps. Elise Stefanik and James Comer complained.
They have a point. The White House has obviously been hiding a TON from the American people, and it's time for the administration to come clean.
