House Intelligence Chair says DOJ won't tell which classified documents are Trump's, which are Biden's

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH) said Tuesday on Newsmax that the DOJ won't tell the committee which classified documents came from former President Donald Trump and which came from President Joe Biden.

Select members of the committee have received access to the documents and are trying to make sense of them.

Turner said that so far, "nothing of great national security threat" has been found in any of the documents.

Unfortunately — and this is something we’re going to have to require — the Department of Justice has not identified which documents come from which president or vice president’s cache," he said.

He added, “This has been absolutely a stalling from the Department of Justice from the beginning, I think largely because we all know that this began as a political endeavor.”

It seems that the DOJ had originally wanted to charge Trump for possession of classified materials seized at Mar-A-Lago in August, but now that Biden has been found with documents in his possession, such charges are far less likely.
