Hillary Clinton defends Tim Walz from 'stolen valor' accusations
Hillary Clinton, whom Breitbart pointed out had once falsely claimed to have taken sniper fire in Bosnia, tried to defend vice presidential candidate Tim Walz from stolen valor accusations that resurfaced after he was named as Democrat nominee Kamala Harris's running mate.
Walz is accused of suddenly retiring from the National Guard after 24 years to avoid being deployed to Iraq after 9/11.
He also claimed to be a retired command sergeant major when he actually retired at one rank below.
Additionally, he claimed that he carried weapons in combat, but he did not actually do so.
“Tim Walz served honorably for two decades. Then he joined Congress and worked to pass a new GI bill that helped fund the college educations of millions of veterans—among them, JD Vance,” Clinton posted on X on Monday.
Her response didn't really address the specific allegations, but she turned off the comments like she has done on previous posts.
