Trump Indicted By Grand Jury In Manhattan

March 30, 2023

It appeared that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s grand jury had decided to take a step back in its pursuit of a potential indictment of former President Donald Trump.

"The grand jury’s activities have allegedly been delayed due to 'a previously scheduled hiatus,' which would reportedly 'push any indictment of the former president to late April at the earliest, although it is possible that the grand jury’s schedule could change,'" reported Breitbart News.

However, late in the day on Thursday, Trump was indicted, becoming the first former president to face criminal charges.

An attorney for Trump indicated that he is expected to be arraigned on Tuesday after surrendering to the D.A.'s office in Manhattan.

Lawyers for the president said, "President Trump has been indicted. He did not commit any crime. We will vigorously fight this political prosecution in court."
