Republicans Say That Christopher Wray Is Lying: They're Probably Right

 August 11, 2023

House Republicans say that they have uncovered multiple documents that prove that multiple FBI field offices targeted Catholics as "potential terrorists."

It's no surprise that the left would put somebody on a terror watch list just for being Christian. After all, they labeled parents as domestic terrorists for wanting to know what their children were being taught in school.

But that isn't the biggest problem here.

The proof that the GOP just found?

FBI Director Christopher Wray recently swore under oath that that evidence of such actions didn't exist.

Wray said that the labeling of Catholics as terrorists was simply "a single product by a single field office."

It turns out that is literally the exact opposite of what is true.

Reps. Jim Jordan (R-OH), and Mike Johnson (R-LA) of the House Judiciary Committee recently set the record straight.

"This new information suggests that the FBI’s use of its law enforcement capabilities to intrude on American’s First Amendment rights is more widespread than initially suspected," the pair said.
