Gavin Newsom defends Joe Biden's continued place on 2024 ticket

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) went to bat for President Joe Biden amid growing calls in the Democratic Party to replace him as the nominee.

Newsom believes in Biden for 2024 and even claimed that the president's track record made him the obvious choice in 2024.

Newsom stated, "Responsible? I revere his record. I mean it’s -- what he’s done in three years has been a masterclass. Close to 15 million jobs. That’s eight times more than the last three Republican presidents combined. The economy is booming. Inflation is cooling. It’s .6 percent more than it was in the summer of 2020. It’s just 3.1 percent."

Newsom's comments about the economy demonstrate just how out of touch the elite in America are. The economy is in horrific shape, and no amount of lying or manipulating statistics will change the fact that Americans are suffering and have been for the past few years.

In fact, inflation and the damage done to the American economy as a result of it are key reasons why Biden is so incredibly unpopular.

It seems that Newsom doesn't want to make enemies, as he has already withdrawn from any consideration for 2024. Attacking Biden does him no favors at this stage, as he is playing the long game for 2028.
