Fox News lays off entire Investigative Unit after Dominion settlement

Fox News has laid off its entire Investigative Unit following a $787.5 million settlement with Dominion Voting Systems, and allegedly there will be more layoffs coming soon.

Fox News settled with Dominion last month to avoid losing a $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit, and the network has been firing people right and left since.

Tucker Carlson, who was the most watched host in America, was one of the first casualties of the Dominion settlement fallout. While Dominion denies any role in Carlson's firing, the timing is simply too convenient to ignore.

Carlson’s attorneys have accused Fox News of firing Carlson as part of its settlement with Dominion, a claim that Dominion stated was "categorically false."

One unnamed employee stated, "The rank-and-file journalists are getting let go meanwhile upper management are sitting pretty, while they are the execs responsible for the Dominion debacle. We are the sacrificial lambs."

In the end, getting away from Fox News might not be so bad, as there is gainful employment to be had with more trustworthy organizations. Fox News is a sinking ship and for conservatives, and there are no tears to be shed for it.
