Tucker Carlson: Antifa an 'armed instrument' of DC liberals

Fox News host Tucker Carlson took to the air and weighed in on the reemergence of Antifa

Carlson said he considers Antifa to be an "armed instrument" of Washington, D.C. Democrats.

Carlson noted that Antifa activity during the 2020 presidential election cycle wreaked havoc on the American psyche, and then as soon as the Democratic pick was elected, they mysteriously disappeared.

"In retrospect, it’s very clear who Antifa was and is," Carlson opined. "Antifa is the armed instrument of the permanent Democratic establishment in Washington. Their job is to mobilize when politically necessary."

Carlson called to mind images of third-world political unrest driven by armed militias, and pointed out that the coercive force of Antifa pulls the nation dangerously close to a similarly unstable model of political action.

After the 2020 election, Antifa receded into the background for a time, but now, they're back in force -- and this time it's not a good thing for President Biden.

Antifa violence struck Atlanta over the weekend, sparking a new conversation about how to handle the violent group.

"Why don’t you go ahead and disband Antifa? Go full RICO on them. Let’s find out who their leaders are. Let’s see them in jail," Carlson exclaimed.
