Fox News has failed to disclose the fact that former Congressman and Republican leader Paul Ryan is a member of its board during recent coverage of his activities, according to Breitbart.
It is customary for news organizations to disclose this type of information.
Ryan has been on the Fox board since 2019, after he stepped down as House Speaker. He serves as the chair of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee at the Fox Corporation.
He is responsible for establishing “broad corporate policies,” setting “strategic direction,” and overseeing “management identification and management of risks.”
Ryan is not a fan of former President Donald Trump and may have influenced some of the network's Trump-averse coverage.
