 January 23, 2023

Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott and President Jay Wallace shocked the nation when they announced that Fox News executive Alan Komissaroff died from a heart attack suffered at his home earlier this month.

Komissaroff had been with the company since its inception in 1996, and it was his first job out of college.

In a memo sent out to Fox News employees, Scott and Wallace said, "This is an extremely difficult day for all of us who worked closely with Alan, and we are completely heartbroken. Alan was a leader and mentor throughout FOX News Media who was integral to our daily news operations and played an indispensable role in every election cycle."

Komissaroff was reportedly working out at his home when he suffered a heart attack. His wife, Rachael, called 911 but it was too late, and his heart stopped while paramedics drove him to the hospital.

The cable news executive spent his remaining days in a coma but tragically did not regain consciousness.

Komissaroff is survived by his wife and two teenage children, Ben and Olivia.
