Former Hunter Biden business partner got $500K from pro-Biden super PAC

Former Rosemont Seneca board member Julianna Smoot was later hired by pro-Biden super PAC Unite the Country and paid over $500,000 between 2019 and 2022.

Smoot was a board member of Rosemont Seneca, Biden's consulting firm, in 2014, according to emails from Hunter Biden's laptop.

She had previously worked in the Obama administration in multiple positions and for his re-election campaign in 2012.

When she left Rosemont Seneca, she formed a company called Blue Lake Strategies, which was then paid almost $550,000 by Unite the Country for fundraising consulting and travel reimbursements, according to the Federal Election Commission.

Smoot is also on the board of the Obama Foundation and founded WaterWorks.

Another person who discussed foreign business opportunities with Hunter Biden, Mark Doyle, was also paid nearly $600,000 by Unite the Country -- undoubtedly just the tip of the iceberg of connections between Hunter's business associates and his father's political career.
