Former Christie aide arrested on child pornography charges

A one-time aide to former New Jersey Gov. and 2024 presidential candidate Chris Christie was arrested on child pornography charges in August.

Kevin Tomafsky, 41, was reportedly caught receiving a photo of a young child whom an adult had sexually abused.

The adult in the photo was reportedly Tomafsky's father, who was also charged with similar crimes.

Tomafsky's home was searched in 2022, and other photos of children that showed sexual abuse were later found.

He resigned from an unspecified government job on Friday.

Christie's campaign has not commented on the arrest.
