Former Attorney General Bill Barr calls Trump indictment the 'epitome of the abuse'

 April 3, 2023

Former Attorney General Bill Barr blasted the indictment of former President Donald Trump by Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg as the "epitome of the abuse of prosecutorial power," during an interview with Fox Business Network's Kudlow.

Barr spent the interview breaking down the case against Trump and made it clear that Bragg's efforts are 100% politically motivated.

Barr stated, "But, based on the news reports, if they’re accurate, this is an abomination. It’s the epitome of the abuse of prosecutorial power to bring a case that would not be brought against anyone else. They are going after the man, not a crime. And the legal theory, frankly, is pathetically weak. The case is held together by chicken wire and paper clips and rubber bands. It’s a lousy case. It’s — and it’s a shame. It’s a shameful episode in our history, where this local prosecutor is trying to affect the political process by bringing this case.”

Both Democrats and Republicans know that Bragg's case has nothing to do with justice and everything to do with taking out Donald Trump.

The left fears that it cannot beat Trump after four years of abject failure on the part of President Joe Biden.

The left is attempting to subvert our democracy by denying Americans the option to vote for Trump. Unfortunately for liberals, Trump is more popular than ever, and the head-to-head contest between him and Biden is inevitable.
