First lady Jill Biden spotted chatting with Donald Trump at Notre Dame reopening

 December 8, 2024

First lady Jill Biden was spotted having a conversation with President-elect Donald Trump at the reopening ceremony for the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris.

The event was attended by a significant number of foreign dignitaries to mark the reopening of the iconic cathedral after it was badly damaged in a raging fire that broke out in 2019.

Trump was seated between French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron. Jill Biden was seated to Mrs. Macron's left, putting her one seat down from Trump.

Their conversation appeared cordial and further suggested that the relationship between the Biden family and Donald Trump isn't as hostile as suspected, especially after the circumstances around President Joe Biden's exit from the presidential race.

After Joe Biden was forced out of the race in July by the Democratic Party, speculation grew that there was anger from the Biden family towards Democrats, and this was further compounded by Jill Biden's infamous red outfit, worn on election day.

The Biden family was betrayed by Democrats, and while it was likely hard for the Biden's to watch Trump win a second term, there may also have been a level of satisfaction in watching their betrayers lose.
