Fetterman warns Trump is 'good' debater
Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) warned CNN viewers on Sunday that former President Donald Trump is a good debater, even as he insisted President Joe Biden could have beaten him in the November election and expressed support for Democrat Nominee Vice President Kamala Harris.
“It’s going to be a straight-up debate,” Fetterman said about Tuesday's debate between Trump and Harris. “She’s going to do great, of course, but Donald Trump will be good too. I mean, we can all remember he wrecked all of the Republicans. He’s a good debater."
Fetterman contended that Hillary Clinton "wrecked" Trump in all three debates in 2016 (debatable), but he still ultimately won the election.
“At the end of the day, I don’t believe this debate’s going to be definitive because it’s going to come down to this choice, and it’s going to be close,” he said.
The debate will feature muted microphones when it's not a particular candidate's turn to speak -- the same as the debate between Trump and Biden, after which Biden dropped out of the race.
Fetterman defended Biden right up until the end and said he believed Biden could win -- so how credible can any of his views be after that?
