FBI releases new footage of J6 pipe bomb suspect
The FBI has been BUSTED. It has been almost four years now, and officials STILL don't have a great grasp of what happened near the Republican and Democratic Party headquarters on Jan. 5, 2021, the night before the infamous J6 unrest.
Despite footage proving that the person who planted pipe bombs near both headquarters was wearing a grey hoodie and wore Nike Air Max Speed Turf sneakers and a mask, they've still not identified the subject.
The FBI has grown so desperate that it has issued a $500,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
Just recently, the FBI released new footage and information about the subject on its website.
Agents still haven't caught the person yet, but the FBI swears it is not giving up.
"We have never stopped working the case," said David Sundberg, an FBI assistant director in charge who leads the Washington field office. "The bureau has both a long memory and a long reach, and we fully intend to work this case to its ultimate conclusion."
"“Tips from the public really have been very helpful but we’re still trying to identify the suspect," Sundberg explained to CNN. "So we’re trying to release a little more information such that maybe it will jog somebody’s memory."
"The case has been hampered by the difficulty in identifying the suspect," he concluded. "You can see that in the video that the suspect is wearing a hood and mask and gloves, nearly entirely covered. The available surveillance camera footage in the area is a bit sporadic. It certainly is not all the same quality."
