Family of Jon Benet Ramsey believes Gilgo Beach murder suspect Rex Heuermann connected to cold case

The family of JonBenet Ramsey, who was murdered 26 ago when she was just six years old, believes that Gilgo Beach murder suspect Rex Heuermann could be connected to the cold case.

Heuermann was arrested on Thursday as the prime suspect in a string of terrifying murders involving over a dozen victims, including the "Gilgo Four" discovered on Long Island.

John Andrew Ramsey, the half-brother of Jon Benet Ramsey, took to Twitter to say, "No criminal record but you can’t hide this level of darkness. It will manifest itself in other areas of your life. Try as you might, you can’t blend. JonBenet’s killer will likely have a similar bio. #psychopath."

Neighbors of Heuermann, who is a 59-year-old accountant, described him as a "creep" and seemed to fit the profile of a violent sexual predator.

Investigators are currently pursuing every piece of evidence they have to connect Heuermann to other victims.

While it seems highly unlikely that Heuermann is the individual who killed six-year-old JonBenet Ramsey, his arrest after over a decade without progress provides hope to the families of other victims that the monsters who committed such terrible acts will be caught and brought to justice.
