Facebook Planning More Job Cuts: Report

 March 8, 2023

When Mark Zuckerberg announced that 2023 would be "a year of efficiency" for the company, most Americans were able to read between the lines and figure out what that meant.

Many of the people who helped Zuckerberg become one of the richest people on planet earth would soon be out of a job.

According to Bloomberg, we were exactly right. The cuts, which could impact thousands of workers, are expected to be announced as early as this week.

This comes on the heels of Meta (Facebook's parent company) laying off 11,000 around Christmas 2022. That represented a 13% reduction in staff.

Despite the job cuts, Mark Zuckerberg is still "obsessed with the metaverse," according to Breitbart.

The "metaverse" is often defined as a "hypothetical iteration of the Internet as a single, universal, and immersive virtual world that is facilitated by the use of virtual reality and augmented reality headsets."

Basically, a life that's lived entirely within the confines of the Internet.

But aren't we already doing that?
