Ex-advisor: Trump did not promise to pardon all J6 protesters

 January 8, 2025

One of the hottest topics in America as Donald Trump prepares to take office on Jan. 20 is the question of what he will do with those charged with or convicted of crimes as a result of the protests of Jan. 6, 2021.

Dave Urban, who worked on Trump's 2016 campaign, might have some answers to that.

"He didn’t promise to pardon anybody. He said that he would look at it on a case-by-case basis, but just be factual -- those are the words," Urban said during a recent appearance on CNN.

While Trump may not have promised to pardon everyone, according to Urban, Trump HAS promised to "swiftly review" the cases of all imprisoned for their actions on the fateful day in question

According to The Hill, Urban called the Capitol unrest "staged" and said that some demonstrators were wrongfully arrested and injured.

"And just to be factual, the only person that died on Jan. 6 -- Ashli Babbitt was the one person who died," Urban, who is currently a CNN political commentator, added. "She wouldn’t have died if a police officer didn’t wrongfully shoot her. I wish the Jan. 6 committee would have done a full investigation for the American people to see and hear."

Do you think Donald Trump should pardon everyone involved with J6?
