Eric McCormack's wife files for divorce after 26 years

Will and Grace star Eric McCormack's wife Janet Leigh Holden McCormack has filed for divorce after 26 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.

McCormack is 60. His wife is seeking spousal support and has also requested that he not be granted any.

The filing did not list a separation date for the couple.

The couple met on the set of Lonesome Dove in 1994.

They share a son, Finnigan, 21, together.

Some of Eric McCormack's fans expressed surprise that unlike his character Will Truman on the iconic show, he is not gay in real life.
