Elon Musk returns John Fetterman's compliments in cross-party lovefest

After Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) complimented billionaire X owner Elon Musk in a recent interview, Musk responded in kind on X, as the Washington Examiner reports.

“I admire Mr. Musk,” Fetterman said Thursday in a video, commenting on the advances Tesla and SpaceX have brought to the country.

“Yes, he’s on a different team,” Fetterman said. Musk backed Trump in the presidential race, whereas Fetterman is a Democrat.

“But that doesn’t make me an enemy,” Fetterman continued. “I’m not gonna automatically going to become a critic. It’s like, hey, he has made it, you know, he’s made our economy and our nation better and our politics are different, and I don’t agree with some of the things that he might say, but that doesn’t make him like I said, an enemy.”

Musk posted on X about Fetterman, "Hard not to like @SenFettermanPA. He puts country over party."

Fetterman has also said recently that he does not want Trump to fail because of how it would hurt the country and that he would work with congressional Republicans to get legislation passed.
