Elizabeth Holmes Begins 11 Years Behind Bars For Blood-Testing Hoax

 May 31, 2023

Disgraced Theranos CEO Elizabeth Holmes was scheduled to report to a prison camp on May 30, after being sentenced to ELEVEN years behind bars as a result of overseeing a blood-testing hoax that sabotaged Silicon Valley's credibility.

Elizabeth Holmes is 39 years old and says that she grew up "aspiring to become a technology visionary along the lines of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs."

Instead, she turned into a criminal. I'm not saying Steve Jobs wasn't a criminal, and I'm not saying that he was. I'm just saying he never got caught.

In case you've never heard of Holmes before, here's a quick rundown.

She was the CEO of Theranos, a blood-testing company. She was declared the youngest and wealthiest self-made female billionaire in America for her amazing company.

There was just one problem with it all:

The revolutionary inventions on which Theranos' sky-high valuations were based never existed. They were all lies. Holmes didn't have a single product, despite claims she was going to revolutionize the blood-testing industry.

Now she's paying the price. She made more from her scam than I will make in my entire life. But she also lost more than I have ever lost: her soul and her freedom.
