Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) told Breitbart News Saturday that she believes whistleblowers will be important in helping Republicans expose government corruption, and that Republicans need to make them feel "comfortable" coming forward.

Stefanik has been named to the Select Committee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, which will investigate government corruption.

She said the committee will be doing “some of the most important work that House Republicans do in the majority” in terms of bringing “accountability and transparency to what the American people understand has been the weaponization of the federal government against everyday Americans.”

One example of the possible corruption is the move to label parents who speak out at school board meetings as "terrorists."

She is sure the Biden administration will do everything it can to obstruct the committee's work, but it will go on nonetheless.
