Trump's legal troubles putting him at funding disadvantage compared to Biden

Former President Donald Trump is spending millions battling multiple indictments and it has put him at a major disadvantage in the presidential race.

President Joe Biden's campaign has collected $155 million in cash so far, and $53 million of that was raised just last month.

Biden told WNOV 860 in Wisconsin, "We’ve raised a whole lot of money. We have 1.5 million donors, including 500,000 are brand new, they’re small donors; 97% of the donations under $200."

Of course, Biden failed to mention that he has also been fundraising with figures like Barack Obama and Bill Clinton and raised $4 million from just one fundraiser held in New York.

Meanwhile, Trump doesn't have the support of the elite donor class and has had to spend his own millions on battling political indictments.

This could be a factor to watch as November draws near. Trump will have to beat Biden with one hand tied behind his back because of the financial disparity, but if anyone can do that, the former president can.
