Donald Trump's former press secretary blasts Melania Trump at DNC
Stephanie Grisham was once one of the closest people in the world to Donald J. Trump and his family, previously serving as President Trump's press secretary and close aide to Melania Trump.
It's safe to say that Grisham is no longer as in love with the former first family these days.
Grisham used her platform at the Democratic National Convention to publicly show and criticize texts between her and former first lady Melania Trump.
The former aide resigned hours after the events of Jan. 6, 2021, and claimed that she would have resigned multiple times prior to that had Melania Trump not talked her out of it.
Grisham used her departure from Trump's administration as a rallying cry while she was speaking at the Democratic National Convention.
"On Jan. 6, I asked Melania if we can at least tweet that 'while peaceful protest is the right of every American, there's no place for lawlessness or violence.' She replied with one word... 'no.'"
"I became the first senior staffer to resign that day. I couldn't be a part of the insanity any longer," Grisham continued. "While I don't agree with Vice President Harris on everything, I am proud to be supporting her because I know she will defend our freedoms and represent our nation with honesty and integrity."
