Former President Donald Trump has jumped to a 10-point lead over President Joe Biden according to new data from a Washington Post/ABC News poll that was released on Sunday.
With Trump all but a lock for the Republican Party's presidential nomination, pollsters are beginning to measure the rematch between Trump and Biden, and what they are finding isn't good for Democrats.
The poll found that Trump is beating Biden and doing so by a shockingly large margin.
Furthermore, the poll also found that voters' approval of Trump's time as president has recovered significantly since he left office in 2021.
The poll measured voter views on nearly every major issue facing the nation, and there was an overwhelming disapproval of President Biden's handling of everything from the economy to the war in Ukraine.
There is still a lot of time left in the primary campaign cycle, but Democrats ought to be seriously worried at this point.
