Donald Trump literally overshadows Ron DeSantis at Iowa State fair

Former President Donald Trump has been dominating Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in the race for the GOP presidential nomination, and during a visit to the Iowa State Fair, Trump literally overshadowed his rival with a flyover.

On Saturday, DeSantis made an appearance at the fair, and not only was he poorly received, but he was also masterfully outmaneuvered by Trump.

When DeSantis made his arrival, the fairgoers were already busy with another spectacle. Trump's plane was circling the venue and literally overshadowing the governor, further reinforcing just how little pull he has with Americans compared to the former president.

Despite non-stop campaigning, DeSantis can't seem to catch up to Trump, and spectators at the Iowa State Fair chanted, "We love Trump!” and “We want Trump!"

When Trump finally landed and made his appearance, a crowd of thousands had gathered cheering the former president and chanting "Four more years!"

There is no doubt that Trump is outrageously popular in Iowa, and it seems a forgone conclusion that he will carry the state's delegates when the Republican nominee is selected. As for DeSantis, this outing has once again shown that his campaign may be beyond saving.
