Donald Trump has a massive 37-point lead in Republican primary

 September 3, 2023

Former President Donald Trump is now boasting a massive 37-point lead in the Republican primary race, and it is beginning to look like no candidate will come near him.

A new Economist/YouGov poll asked respondents, "If the Republican presidential primary in your state were held today, who would you vote for?"

An astounding 51% of voters stated that they would vote for Trump, while the nearest competition was Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who only captured a 14% support rate among poll respondents.

Vivek Ramaswamy came in third place with 5% support, meaning that just Trump and DeSantis are pulling in double digits.

By all accounts, the race isn't even close and that's with everything Donald Trump has dealt with in the past few months.

The former president has been indicted four different times, and yet Americans continue to make it clear that he is the man they want. President Joe Biden ought to really start panicking, because if criminal indictments can't stop Trump, how can he?
