Donald Trump earns cheers after showing up at NCAA wrestling tournament despite imminent arrest

Former President Donald Trump surprised Americans by attending an NCAA Wrestling Tournament in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Saturday despite his imminent arrest. His appearance earned him rounds of applause and cheers from those in attendance.

Video of the event showed Trump smiling and waving and holding his fist up in a sign of triumph as he was cheered.

Trump attended the event with the invitation of Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK), and the event made it clear that Trump is more than welcome in the Sooner state.

Trump is expecting to be arrested on Tuesday in connection with an alleged misdemeanor charge involving hush money payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels.

The case is being prosecuted by radical leftist Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg, who was elected thanks to funding from billionaire George Soros. Bragg has also contributed to the crime wave in New York City thanks to his soft-on-crime policies.

The case against Trump is an obvious political hit job and some expect Trump's arrest to make him more popular with the American people. Some suspect that Bragg's move could seal the Democrats' fate and hand Trump the presidency in 2024.
