Donald Trump confirms Republican Party will permanently withdraw from funding 'endless' foreign wars

March 5, 2023

Former President Donald Trump loudly proclaimed that the Republican Party is done with funding “endless” foreign wars, a stark rebuttal to Trump's neo-conservative opponents in the GOP establishment.

Trump made that statement during his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference which he used to declare war on his enemies in the Republican Party.

Trump stated, "We are never going back to a party that wants give unlimited money to fight foreign wars – that are endless wars, that are stupid wars – but at the same time demands that we cut veterans’ benefits and retirement benefits at home."

Earlier in his speech, Trump called out his enemies by name saying the Republican Party had been "ruled by freaks, neocons, globalists, open-border zealots, and fools, but we are never going back to the party of Paul Ryan, Karl Rove, and Jeb Bush."

Trump's time in office was one of unusual peace for America, and he has the honor of being one of the only modern American presidents to not have started a war.

America cannot afford endless wars abroad anymore. Our economy is in tatters and Americans' quality of life has steadily declined. Until we solve our issues in the homeland, we cannot spend valuable resources in foreign theaters.
