According to Trump, the mother of former first lady Melania Trump is “very ill.”

The topic arose after Melania Trump was not seen in the latest Trump family Christmas photos that were posted online.

Melania also missed the Trump New Year’s Eve party at Mar-a-Lago.

Trump was quick to shut down any potential negative rumors before they could start, confirming at the party that Melania was at the hospital by her mother’s bedside.

Melania Trump’s mother, Amalija Knavs, is 78 years old.

Without even trying to earn praise, Melania has proved again to be a class act.

She gave up her holiday season to spend it with her sick mother.

Someone close to Melanie told Fox News Digital that “Melania has always been very devoted to her entire family. It should be no surprise that she spent this Christmas with her ailing mother.”
