DOJ conceals Hunter Biden's mugshot

A mugshot taken of Hunter Biden when he was processed after a July indictment has been on file with the DOJ since that time, but it has apparently been kept from the public.

CNN reported that Biden was fingerprinted and his mug shot taken, and his lawyer Abbe Lowell said he was processed through “the usual procedures" at a Delaware federal courthouse.

Fox News's Jesse Watters filed a FOIA request for the mugshot, but he said on Tuesday that has not been able to get it.

Kim Reeves, a spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware, told Newsweek that the mugshot remains concealed because the Department of Justice policy “prohibits my office from providing photographs of defendants prosecuted in federal court.”

Turns out it's not very customary to release federal mugshots unless the prisoner escapes or disappears.

Biden was indicted on three felony gun charges in September but has not yet been processed on those charges.
