DOGE finds $1.9B allegedly misplaced by Biden administration

 February 17, 2025

Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has discovered a massive sum of $1.9 billion that was misplaced by the former Biden administration.

In a post to DOGE's official X page, staffers confirmed that "$1.9 billion of HUD money was just recovered after being misplaced during the Biden administration due to a broken process. These funds were earmarked for the administration of financial services but were no longer needed. @SecretaryTurner and @DOGE worked together to fix the issue and de-obligated the funds which are now available for other use by the Treasury."

The fact that nearly two billion taxpayer dollars were "misplaced" by the Biden administration speaks to the waste and corruption that has been occurring at the federal level for years now.

Furthermore, while DOGE believes that this money was lost due to system errors, it isn't impossible that these systematic failures exist to disappear funds to be funneled off to corrupt individuals.

This speculation is further supported by the hysterical reactions from inexplicably wealthy Democrat politicians who have turned six-figure salaries into eight-figure fortunes in a matter of years.

DOGE is auditing every federal agency and finding billions in missing funds, suggesting that there is either a criminal amount of negligence, or there is a deliberate scheme to siphon taxpayer dollars to well-connected individuals and entities.
