DeSantis Signs Teacher Bill Of Rights And Pay Raise Bills
Ron DeSantis is perhaps the most common-sense politician in America, a style that seems all too rare in politics these days.
Most politicians might not take normal Americans into account, but Ron DeSantis does.
He just proved it by making multiple moves to help one of the most underappreciated groups of people in America:
On May 9 alone, he made two huge steps for educators in the Sunshine State.
He signed both a pay raise AND the Teacher Bill of Rights bill at the same news conference.
"At the end of the day, you can put money into a school, you can have good standards, you can have all that, but if you don’t have a good teacher in the classroom, then you’re not going to have kids perform up to their expectations," DeSantis said.
DeSantis has pumped BILLIONS of dollars into Florida's education system during his few years in office, and it doesn't appear to be ending anytime soon.
