DeSantis Says Florida Will Not Assist In Any Trump Extradition Request

April 1, 2023

If the roles were reversed, would Donald Trump be standing up for Ron DeSantis?

Many people in America are surprised by the governor's recent behavior.

After all, Trump has mocked DeSantis, criticized DeSantis, and belittled DeSantis since he realized that Florida's chief executive could actually be a threat to the presidency in 2024.

Still, DeSantis is REFUSING to cooperate with New York's disgusting abuse of power.

Despite Trump's recent attacks, DeSantis' decision has not been swayed. Florida will NOT assist with the extradition of Donald Trump to New York, where he has been indicted.

"The weaponization of the legal system to advance a political agenda turns the rule of law on its head. It is un-American," DeSantis said. "The Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney has consistently bent the law to downgrade felonies and to excuse criminal misconduct. Yet now he is stretching the law to target a political opponent. Florida will not assist in an extradition request given the questionable circumstances at issue with this Soros-backed Manhattan prosecutor and his political agenda."
