DeSantis Pledges To Support Donald Trump In General Election

Ron DeSantis, the Republican governor of Florida, recently surprised America by telling us that if Donald Trump wins the GOP nomination, he is going to support him in the general election.

That decision may seem obvious, given that they are both Republicans, but given the battle the two have been locked in lately, it may have started being less and less of a given that DeSantis or other Republicans would support Trump if the former president keeps his current lead.

While DeSantis said that he would support Trump, he rejected the idea of a potential Trump-DeSantis ticket.

Ron would rather stay Florida's governor than take a crack at the vice presidency.

DeSantis said that's because the vice president "doesn't really have any authority."
