Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) reported that his leadership has led to 30 consecutive months of job growth as one of the strongest states in the nation.
Florida added 36,000 jobs in October, and its economy remains strong as the holidays approach.
This is especially significant since a major hurricane hit the state in October, and recovery is still ongoing.
Total private sector employment grew by 447,800 jobs (or 5.6%) in the previous 12 months, faster than the national private sector job growth rate of 4.0% over the year.
Many Republicans would like to see DeSantis bring his model to the nation, but he has not yet mentioned a desire to do so.
