DeSantis Leads 2024 Florida Republican Primary Poll

Sure, it's Ron DeSantis' home state...

But when Donald Trump gets rolling he's nearly impossible to stop. And many people think that Trump has been ROLLING since the little setbacks he saw around the times of 2022 midterms.

That's why even though Ron DeSantis is the governor of Florida, it's still a big deal that DeSantis is holding a hypothetical lead in the Republican primary there.

A University of North Florida Public Opinion Research Lab survey recently found that it isn't Donald Trump, but Ron DeSantis who Florida Republicans most want to see as their president once 2024 rolls around.

Ron DeSantis collected 52% support among those surveyed. Donald Trump was a distance second, collecting barely half the support Ron did with 27%.

The falloff after those two was absolutely massive.

Nikki Haley collected 4% support. Liz Cheney collected 3% support. Mike Pence was the only other candidate to gather more than a single percentage point of support, he came in at 2%.
