DeSantis goes to war with popular 'Libs of TikTok' account

Former GOP candidate and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis may be committing career suicide.

DeSantis has been getting into petty arguments on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

The latest?

He duked it out with @LibsofTikTok.

The account featured a post that read, “apparently FL also gives illegals drivers licenses.”

The accusation sent DeSantis into a fit of rage.

DeSantis responded to the claim in a forceful manner.

“@libsoftiktok got community noted for lying about FL law, which not only prohibits illegal aliens from getting drivers licenses but also prohibits recognition of licenses issued to illegal aliens from other states. Truth shouldn’t be a casualty of attempts to generate clicks and engagement farm,” DeSantis wrote in the recent X post.

The bottom line is, no matter if DeSantis is correct or not, stooping low enough to respond to individual social media posts is not going to do DeSantis any favors when it comes to his public approval.
