Democrat stronghold of Chicago witnesses 14 shootings this past weekend

The city of Chicago, Illinois, which is one of the most liberal cities in the United States, suffered 14 different shootings which left three people dead over this past weekend.

Since Mayor Brandon Johnson (D) took over for the reviled Lori Lightfoot, things in the Windy City haven't gotten much better.

So far, 473 people have been killed in the Windy City from January 1, 2023, through October 21, 2023 according to data collected by the Chicago Sun-Times.

Multiple victims were found shot multiple times, and all three eventually died of their wounds.

Luckily that was the limit of the fatalities in Chicago, but this weekend's violence is another reminder that Democrats have no answers for how to make America's cities safe from the rising wave of violent crime.

Normal Americans should not expect to be safe in big cities like Chicago unless there are serious changes made. Until Chicago's voters elect new leadership, the status quo will remain, and the violent killings will continue.
