Daisy Ridley Developed Stress Ulcers While Filming 'Star Wars'

Famed Star Wars actress, Daisy Ridley has come clean about a medical diagnosis.

In recent interviews with GQ and Inverse, Ridley said she has “holes in her stomach wall” due to her battle with severe anxiety.

Now, the actress says that fame is the cause of the anxiety that caused her to develop the condition.

"When all of the craziness was going on, I was like, ‘I’m good. I’m good. I’m coping fine. Everything’s fine.’ And I was fine, for the most part. But I think what I was really grappling with was that it was my normal, but it was not normal to other people,” Ridley said to Inverse.

The star opened up about how difficult the struggle was in the middle of her battle.

"My body was just f---ed up. I got tests done, and it turned out my body was taking in no nutrients. I was just like a little skeleton, and I was just so tired. I was becoming a ghost," Ridley said to GQ.

The star said she used the three-month shutdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic to completely reset and heal herself.

Anxiety can be extremely difficult to manage. We are happy to know Ridley has gotten hers under control.
