Crime In DC Reaching Alarming Levels

 February 3, 2024

There's a crime wave going on in Washington, D.C., and it's not clear whether it's going to get better anytime soon.

According to National Review, D.C. is facing simply staggering crime numbers right now. The outlet noted:

D.C. police have reported 49 carjackings and nine homicides so far in the new year. In 2023, overall crime increased 26 percent over 2022. That includes major increases in property crime (24 percent), violent crime (39 percent), and motor-vehicle theft (82 percent). The city also saw more homicides in 2023 than in any year since 1997.n

What do you expect in a Democrat-run city, though?

Residents are getting exactly what they've been asking for by voting for their leaders' soft-on-crime approach.

When you let criminals walk free and punish the people who are interested in law and order, this is exactly what you get.

Liberals don't want to admit that, though, because it would be quite offensive to many of their voters.

They're soft on crime because they want criminals and their families to vote for them.
