Comer to interview 'key figures' in Biden family bribery scheme

 June 19, 2023

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer is not letting up on the Biden family investigation.

Comer says he will have discussions with "key figures" in his investigation into the Biden family bribery scheme and influence peddling.

"We're going to start bringing in key figures in the Biden family influence-peddling schemes for depositions, and I think we're on the right track, even though we're having to fight the FBI, fight the DOJ, fight the Democrats in Congress and fight the mainstream media," Comer said.

Comer also said he will not give up, even when it is difficult to get needed documentation.

"I think we've done as much as we could do with the obstacles we've had to overcome. No one thought I would get bank records. No one thought we would get access to the Treasury, Cabinet's suspicious activity reports, but we would not take no for an answer," Comer said.

"We kept fighting and we prevailed," Comer said about the committee's efforts. "When we got access to the suspicious activity reports, the mainstream media said there was nothing there."

"Comer said his probe uncovered indirect wire transfers from Romania and China to the Biden family while Joe Biden was vice president," reported JustTheNews.

Comer said the FBI was aware of the allegations for years and did nothing to investigate the matter.

"They didn't want to investigate the shell companies. They didn't want to investigate the money laundering. And then we know the Department of Justice hasn't done anything, so there's a pattern here where the federal government, the deep state bureaucracies, have turned a blind eye to Joe Biden," Comer said.

Comer said the informant first told the FBI in 2017 about the bribery scheme involving Ukraine and nothing was done about it.
