Comer, GOP committee have cooperation from four Biden family business associates in probe

House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) said Monday that four Biden family business associates are cooperating with the committee's probe into nine violations, including money laundering and wire fraud.

“We are in communication with four former Biden family business associates,” Comer told Fox Business. “They are cooperating with our investigation. And I will tell you it’s very concerning.”

Comer said the committee couldn't "out" the whistleblowers, but Breitbart News speculated that Hunter Biden’s top financial lieutenant Eric Schwerin is likely one of the four.

A spokesman for the committee had already told Breitbart in February that Schwerin would soon provide documents the committee requested. Schwerin's relationship with Hunter Biden crumbled in 2019 amid a betrayal plot by Biden.

Comer has already revealed numerous money-making schemes by members of the Biden family, including $1.3 million in payments to family members from China through a business associate that Comer says he has reason to believe were payment for favors by Joe Biden when he was vice president and/or president. A Fox News digital review reported in July that President Joe Biden met with at least 14 of Hunter Biden's business associates while vice president.

“[There are] at least ten different transactions that will show the president’s immediate family was receiving funds from the Chinese Communist Party,” Comer said of bank records received by the committee.
