Comer: FBI Needs To Review Biden Security Footage

January 18, 2023

Rep. James Comer, a Republican from Kentucky, recently stopped by for an interview on Fox News Channel.

During his appearance on The Story, Comer was asked about the hottest topic in American politics right now: Joe Biden's classified document scandal.

Comer's thinking is that the only way we're going to get to the bottom of this is if somebody reviews security footage from Biden's home to prove "who might have had access to classified information stored at the home."

Comer doesn't think that this is out of line at all. In fact, the federal government has shown that's how it treats presidents who mishandle documents. Let's not forget, the FBI took security footage from former President Donald Trump's home when they raided his Mar-a-Lago residence. Why wouldn't Joe Biden be subject to the same rules? Comer added:

Well, we wonder if the Secret Service had records now, that’s our next question. Because he still had Secret Service protection. And you would assume that the Secret Service would vet people that would be allowed on the premise of the dwelling for the President of the United States. So, there are other areas we’re going to look. I’m sure all of the records have either been destroyed or never existed to begin with. But at any rate, this is very concerning. The security cameras, remember the FBI, when they raided Mar-a-Lago, they also took the security cameras to look at security footage. Did they do the same with Joe Biden? We do know he has surveillance cameras there.
