CNN below Newsmax in primetime ratings after shame over Trump town hall

Just days after CNN hosts expressed shame over their network hosting a town hall event with former President Donald Trump, CNN dropped below Newsmax in a prime-time ratings disaster.

On Friday night, CNN only registered an average of 335,000 viewers vs. Newsmax's 357,000 during the prime-time lineup.

Furthermore, CNN trailed Newsmax in each primetime hour on Friday, with only 293,000 viewers in the 9:00 p.m. hour compared to Newsmax's 325,000.

Maybe CNN ought to give Trump his own show, or at the least, tell its hosts to stop wringing their hands over his appearance.

Trump brought CNN ratings like it hasn't seen in years, and in only 48 hours, CNN's own employees completely ruined the effect.

It's clear who the people want to see on CNN, and it's not Anderson Cooper.
