Classified Russian Election Meddling Intel Vanished From White House

 December 17, 2023

In the last days of Donald Trump's administration, the former president reportedly pushed to declassify sensitive documents about the FBI's investigation into Russia.

Now, the originals are missing.

"I determined that the materials in that binder should be declassified to the maximum extent possible," Trump reportedly wrote when pushing for the info to be declassified.

A binder of info was declassified.

There's only one problem.

We can't find it now.

Former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson claims that she's "almost positive" that the binder would have left the White House with former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.

"I don’t think that would have been something that he would have destroyed. It was not returned anywhere, and it never left our office to go internally anywhere. It stayed in our safe in the office safe most of the time," Hutchinson said.

She added that she never noticed the binder missing until her last day in the White House.
